Someone to hold. Someone to cherish. Someone to tell me “Hey babe, I missed you today.” I don’t know. I’m sitting here thinking about superficial things. I mean, haven’t you ever just laid in bed at night and thought “what if I had someone?” And then you look and browse through your phone and realize you’re not as alone as you think. You’re talking to all these people and you wonder “do they even think of me that way?” But then there isn’t that emotional connection. There isn’t a definite “someone” there for you. It’s never to the point where these people are willing to go move on with you to the next step. There’s always that borderline between being just their friend compared to being that special someone.
You either break up or get married. That’s my thinking mentality when finding my other half. Why would you go out with someone if you know you guys won’t last? If I go out with someone, it’s because I can see myself marrying him in the future. It’s stupid to go out with someone just because of their looks. Personality is more important. What are you gonna do when they grow old and wrinkly? Will you still be happy? I know I will.
What is ugly? Is it not having designer clothes? Is it not having your boobs hang out of your shirt? Or not being able to see your ribs? Not being able to feel your bones in your thighs? Having acne? Having braces or glasses? Really, that’s ugly? Or maybe another word for ‘ugly’ is society. So screw society, because you are beautiful for who you are. Screw society and its standards.
Drinking, smoking, having sex, doing drugs, and sneaking out is not living up to YOLO. YOLO means making your life worth something, being remembered for something after you die, changing the world…
Don’t be the one to look for LOVE.
When you go lookin’ for it, you find “faux love”. You run into that person that seems perfect…. until you fall in love with them. Don’t be so desperate to find that one thing that you start seeing it in everybody. Just give it time. Let love find you. I promise, it will find you. I cannot tell you when, but I can tell you why — because you are amazing, you are worth love, and someone out there is lookin’ for someone like you to fall in love with.
